The beautiful center of the Rossete Nebula, shown here as a narrowband composition in the Hubble Palette (HST). The Rossete Nebula is located near a molecular cloud in the constellation Monoceros region of the Milky Way. The nebula is at a distance of 5,000 light-years from Earth. The central detail of this photo is the open star cluster NGC 2244 which is the heart of The Rossete nebula.
